The following dialog displays when you click the Assembly button at the bottom of the Properties dialog when placing an assembly. It lets you define a name for the assembly and save the assembly, along with its defined property values to the project database.

Enter a Name (required) and Description (optional) for the current assembly into the fields provided.

Once an assembly is defined click New to add it to the Catalog Items section.

To continue with the assembly placement, you will need to select the assembly from the Catalog Items grid and click the Select button. This will return you to the Properties Dialog where you can continue with the placement procedure.

When placing assemblies of the same type in future sessions, you can access this dialog and select a saved assembly from the list to place. The property values for the selected assembly will be loaded into the Properties dialog.
